Way Kambas National Park is the first elephant conservation center in Indonesia. In this area there is also a Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary in commission who keep the rhino species are increasingly threatened with extinction.

After a day ago quite satisfied cibang-Sebesi cibung on the island, the journey was resumed toward the Way Kambas. Actually I had been let alone assessing this place often see ads Djarum Super mengshoot elephant-elephant who became more and more curious to visit this place soon. But unfortunately means of transportation is still difficult to reach let alone the market is relatively far distance and vulnerable as well. From the jetty we took a break diwarung Canti eat our subscription and again uduk who eat rice tasty and affordable. Hehehe.

Down the road cross-arid eastern Sumatra and far who has been bothering me comfort over motor vehicles. Anyway, this dijalur rarely found darting through retail outlets. Although there was definitely OUT gasoline, so the employees just sitting pretty while reading the newspaper. Moreover, motor matic Caul who require frequent content of gasoline. But oddly enough along this path there are many sellers of gasoline retail side of the road? Who rather more expensive 25% of normal price. Until we finally arrived in the area Sribhawono and sure enough! There is a gas station who says 'SORRY, OUT GAS' and dozens of motorcycles were lined up along with jerry-cans of magnitude. I ventured to photograph the situation with just a camera phone from a distance. Ironic!

After a 3 hour drive finally arrived in the area and became Queen Labuhan entrance Way Kambas National Park. But this distance from the gate signal into elephant conservation center is 7km longer Sodara, haahh I can not stand on the bike! Already seen the entry booth finally, after a while the pictures digerbangnya proceed again and again it still 9km! Well God, much like clay elephant really does talaga. At the counter inside there are 2 lanes, to the right to go to elephant conservation center and straight to the Right Way. Initially I was more interested in who is the Right Way down the natural forest, but must take care simaksi go in there and when it happened again ga officers are in place.

Just info from the counter clerk, in addition to other objects elephant conservation park who can enjoy the Right Way. To get there from the direction of our entrance is 13km straight and still again, and must wear SIMAKSI first. In the Right Way too many tourist objects, can be tracking down the river using a speedboat, Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary there are also who is the only place Sumatran rhino breeding wildlife. But a visit to the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary is very limited and should not be even. Because rhinos lived here only four tails and were all given special care and extra attention.

After talking briefly with us immediately to the ticket lady conservation center. My first impression down this path so beautiful and natural. But unfortunately there are many rocky roads damaged and perforated reply sehigga complicate driving. The sun was very hot, already visible from a distance so vast savanna reply. In a state park was fairly quiet, only a few cars who park, and food stalls around too was deserted or even no one buy. Because some other tourists I saw were cool to enjoy lunch under the tree mats with menu foods brought from home must have. We do not like most tourists ride elephants, walk've been happy enough to see the elephants.

've Looked dashing elephants who were chatting with other visitors, but I am afraid even to come close. We walked into the meadow and into the savannah who is so vast, there is an elephant who is cool to eat grass. It turned out that the elephants here removed all because they are not wild. They are all trained but must teteap caution when approaching and there is no handler there, could have been if he had bothered directly at once savage. Pudink who dared to photograph the elephants up close, and I only dare to look at from a distance for fear. Hehehe! Officials said there are auspicious time for the evening because all the elephants will come out to bathe and play in the lakes. Immediately, we find the right spot who the lake edge. And sure enough, there was a little elephant who was in the shower, 'Jony name' said the handler.

Jony is only 4 years old (still unyu-unyu yes boo) and she looked sassy when we liatin he was taking a shower instead he occasionally approached and sprayed water at us. When we're talking with his keeper (sorry, forgot his name .. hehe) suddenly rise above the Jony and joining with us. The Jony is funny you know, she eavesdrop our conversation while he ate and occasionally rubbing his body kepohon (may itch times yes)! Is shucks, bodies gatel ngegaruknya kepohon? Try our reply? Hahaha. I'm not enough guts to close just the same with my photo Jony, abisnya my turn near him even peek-peek right towards me make dag dig dug!

Handler in TN said this Way Kambas Lampung there were 65 original elephant who dealt with the same tail each each 1 handler. I just know you know the difference between male and female elephant, if he is male and if female ga tusks are ivory. Hooh so anyway! Daaan reply awaited moment arrived, the elephant mandiiii. All the elephants who are first given a drink here continue straight into the lake where they nyebur deh shower. I find nowhere in the world, because only a small creature creatures great disekelilingi nan dashing. Looks occasional pair of elephants go together to bathe together, there is also a large elephant family riches because there pygmy elephants, males, and females as well. The handlers also wash their hands down, because he said if they've met his friends could spend so long in the lake should dimandiin.

These animals do not like who I imagined, it turns out they are friendly and docile as well. They were also worried that the shower, while screaming and occasional squirts of water (maybe take a bath once ga ya). There is also a small elephant named Badr, he would go down ga bath beaten up several times at his keeper, kasian deh! Ehh fitting there are 2 elephants (male and female) he was going down (maybe CSnya times ya, hahaha) they actually joking, joking with overlap-squeezing, wealthy hell fighting over the female. Anyway, the handler said in the rainy season usually gini breeding season also for the elephants. But usually they mate ga night and would be seen by the handler as well, so hide-hide so deh. Because of the vast area of ??this National Park, making them freely anywhere, even troublesome if the handler should find them to be washed.

Seneng deh can see these cute animals, ga vain was all the way here though just to see elephants bathing talaga. Kudos as well as the handler, because they are already trained and working on the basis of their love of this ancient animal. Quite satisfied and was not curious again with the same Way Kambas. But I am still curious about the same tetep Right Way because they have not had time to get there. Someday I would if asked or told to come here again, and hopefully I've got the guts to come close to these elephants.

Time is also required us who get home as it was already too late. When the way home I stopped at one gas station to go to the toilet, again there is the word 'GAS OUT' in front of him but there's a pickup truck who was content with a cargo of gasoline jerry-cans in the back who is also being filled with gasoline? Lhoo, what does this mean? Anyway, I did not know what to respond as to what such an event. The drive home this time is rather fast because already know the road is not like in the beginning of the trip we often waste time by asking directions to the local villagers. During the two hours we had reached the port of Bakauheni, by searching the rice pack stomach first because it has not been filled from the afternoon.

And fortunately we got the ship is quite nice and comfortable, the waves are also very friendly until I fell asleep until we arrived at the port of Merak. Jawaaa Island, finally we meet again account after 2 days apart. But the journey to Jakarta was still three hours away pemirsah, yaa 3 hours! Really, if I have the heart to Pudink I would prefer to take the bus from the need to ride my bike enacting increasingly flat buttocks. Have to deal with containers and damaged street who makes me awake from the sleep-me-not caught this. Well that's it, wherever stepped foot into my house also is back again!
